Care, thoughtfully gathered

At Fynbos Integrative Therapies, we bring together the kinds of care that usually live in separate places. Mental health support. Bodywork. Acupuncture. Group connection. All under one roof, just upstairs from Boston IVF's Maine center.

We organize our care around the seasons of life that ask the most of us, because the journey through family planning, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and loss rarely moves in a straight line. Wherever you are in it, there's a place for you here.

Where you are, we meet you

At Fynbos, we bring together the kinds of care that often live in separate places. Mental health support. Bodywork. Group connection. All in one calm, considered space. It's care designed to meet you as a whole person and the many roles that you carefully balance, including:

For partners and non-birthing parents

The journeys that bring people to Fynbos rarely belong to just one person. Partners and non-birthing parents carry their own version of the experience, including (more often than is talked about) their own grief, anxiety, and postpartum mood shifts. There's care here for you too.

The kinds of care under our roof

Individual

Fifty-minute sessions. In person or virtual. Specializing in perinatal mental health, fertility, career and life transitions, anxiety, depression, and grief.

Integrative Wellness
Massage or Body Work

Massage, acupuncture, and complementary modalities offered by aligned practitioners. Care that meets you in the body, not just the mind.

Community & Connection
Group Offerings

Facilitated group offerings designed to gently undo the isolation so often woven through these journeys.

“I beg you, to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart, and to try to love the questions themselves... Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday in the future, you will gradually, without noticing it, live your way into the answer.”

The practical part

Services at Fynbos are out-of-network. We've made this choice intentionally, so we can offer the kind of unhurried, integrative care our clients are looking for.

A few things that may help:

  • HSA and HRA funds can typically be used for our services.

  • Out-of-network counseling benefits can be navigated through Thrizer, which helps clients understand and access reimbursement from their insurance.

We recommend confirming your individual benefits directly with your insurance company.

If cost is a barrier, please reach out. We'd rather have a conversation than have you walk away.

Not sure where you fit? That's okay.

Many of our clients come to us somewhere between phases, or in more than one at once. A free fifteen to twenty minute consultation is the gentlest way to figure out what kind of support might serve you best.
