For Practitioners
A place to practice what matters, alongside others who get it.
Fynbos Integrative Therapies is a curated wellness collective in South Portland, Maine, built for practitioners who want their work life to feel as considered as the care they offer. If you've been looking for a beautiful, modern, peaceful space to see clients, and a community of like-minded people to share it with, we'd love to hear from you.
Why we built this
Maine has long needed a more connected home for integrative perinatal and mental health care. Clients have been piecing their support together across counselors, bodyworkers, and group leaders scattered across the region. Practitioners, in turn, have been doing meaningful work in isolation.
Fynbos is our answer to both. We're a small, intentional collective gathered above Boston IVF's Maine center, offering whole-person care under one roof. Our practitioners are independent and aligned, building their own practices while contributing to something larger than any of us could create alone.
"To care for those navigating fertility, loss, and becoming is sacred work. It deserves a sacred space."
—Samantha Caola
Who we're looking for
We're growing thoughtfully, with practitioners whose work complements ours and whose values match the warmth of the space. That includes, but isn't limited to:
Licensed mental health therapists, counselors and social workers working with individuals and couples.
Group Facilitators
Licensed massage therapists
Licensed Acupuncturists
Psychiatrists
Psychologists
Nurse Practitioners
Physicians Assistants
Practitioners offering complementary services
You don't need to specialize exclusively in fertility or perinatal care to be a fit. What matters most is that you bring trauma-informed, identity-affirming, evidence-based care, and that you genuinely want to be part of a collective rather than a working in an office of unrelated renters.
What it feels like to work here
Our space was designed to feel calm and grounded the moment you walk in. Soft light, considered materials, rooms that feel held rather than clinical. It's the kind of environment that supports your nervous system as much as your clients', so that the work you do here can be your best work.
Beyond the rooms themselves, you'll find:
Community. Informal connection with practitioners who understand the emotional weight of this work, and who show up for one another professionally and personally.
Referrals within the collective. When a client needs care beyond your scope, there's a trusted name down the hall.
Aligned clientele. Many of our clients arrive already seeking integrative, multi-modal support, which means warmer introductions to your practice.
Convenient location. Directly above Boston IVF's Maine center, right down the road from Coastal Women’s Healthcare and minutes from I-95 and I-295, easy for both you and your clients to reach.
A workplace that practices what it preaches. Quiet hours, restorative design, and a culture that respects the rhythms of meaningful clinical work.
Encouraged creativity. At Fynbos, we’re open to creative ways to provide for our community. Our thoughtfully designed Group Room is meant to make group gatherings welcoming and comfortable. If you have a new creative use of the Group Room that benefits the clientele or working community, ideas are welcome!
How space rental works
Practitioners at Fynbos rent space on terms designed to be flexible and sustainable. We offer a variety of arrangements depending on availability, the cadence of your practice, and the kind of community presence you're looking for.
[Specific rental terms, hours, and pricing TBD, to be shared during inquiry]
We keep this part of the conversation personal. Once we've connected and confirmed alignment, we'll walk you through the space, current availability, and what membership in the collective looks like day to day.
