Samantha Caola
Counselor, LCPC-C, MS (she, her)
Meet Samantha Caola, owner and founder of Fynbos Integrative Therapies. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Known from an early age for her warmth, curiosity, and ability to connect, Samantha turned those strengths into a career supporting others through life’s transitions.
Before becoming a therapist, Samantha spent nearly fifteen years in Human Resources across large organizations in the Northeast. That corporate experience gave her practical insight into workplace dynamics, career development, and organizational life — perspectives she now integrates into her counseling practice.
Samantha returned to school to become a therapist while also navigating her own path to parenthood, including IVF and a difficult delivery. Those personal experiences informed her clinical focus and inspired her to specialize in perinatal and fertility support. They also deepened her commitment to providing empathetic, evidence-informed care for people facing complex life changes.
Her therapeutic approach is humanistic and person-centered with strong existential influences. Samantha partners with clients as they explore meaning, identity, and purpose — offering gentle guidance, practical tools, and a steadiness that keeps the client at the center of the work. She also offers career counseling that bridges her HR background with clinical expertise, supporting clients at every stage: early career choices, parental transitions, and later-life identity shifts.
Fynbos Integrative Therapies was born from Samantha’s desire to care for people walking paths she knows intimately. The practice reflects her belief that thoughtful, compassionate support can be restorative — both for the people she serves and for her own ongoing journey.
